Aberdeen marketing consultancy, Début Marketing, has been acquired by inbound marketing agency, Red Evolution.

The two businesses have been working in partnership for just over a year and have decided to formalise the arrangement, with Début Marketing’s founder, Julie Mitchell-Mehta, becoming a director of Red Evolution.

The new arrangement means that the agency can offer a full inbound marketing service to clients, from the strategy and planning right through to the web design, development, SEO and content creation.

Dave Robinson, the founder of Red Evolution said, “We started off as a web design agency, and added in SEO expertise as we grew. As the way people consume information changes, there is more and more need for a planned programme of relevant and valuable content designed to meet business objectives and generate quality leads. Having Julie on board means that we have been able to evolve into a full service inbound marketing agency, providing the type of online marketing that the market requires.”

Julie Mitchell-Mehta added, “It’s been a pleasure working with the team at Red Evolution over the last year, and it has given me the opportunity to work with a number of interesting clients from across the UK and Europe. I’m delighted that we are now going to be working together to grow the business into something even more special, and I’m getting the chance to apply my marketing, planning, content and social media experience to new projects.”

She added, “As for my existing clients, they will still receive the same service from me, but will have access to design, development and SEO specialists as well.”
