Dingbro Ltd has taken a new 15-year lease on 14,413 sq ft (1,339 sq m) across Unit 4 A – C at Blochairn Industrial Estate in Glasgow. The property was offered at a quoting rent of £5.50 per sq ft (£59 per sq m).
Savills negotiated the deal on behalf of landlord, AEW UK Core Property Fund.
Dingbro is a family owned wholesale distributor of motor vehicle components and truck and trailer parts.
Ross Sinclair, director in the business space team at Savills Scotland, comments: “Blochairn Industrial Estate was purchased by AEW around 12 months ago and shortly thereafter, the largest unit within the estate became vacant. Discussions commenced with Dingbro very shortly after initial marketing commenced and it was agreed that a refurbishment programme in the region of £250,000 would be undertaken. The lease to Dingbro is a fantastic result and one that will help AEW continue to improve the estate going forward.”
