In publishing the list SBNN is turning the spotlight on successful individuals, business innovators and entrepreneurs who have already had an impact in their business sector whilst still under the age of 40.
The published list recognises and celebrates the range of young talent that exists in the Scottish business community through profiling forty leading individuals aged under 40 who are currently making a significant contribution to the Scottish business landscape.
“We were delighted by the number of entries we received this year, however the judging panel did find it difficult to narrow it down to just 40”, said SBNN publisher Mike Watson, “There really are some amazingly talented individuals working in Scotland.”
The age range of the 40 people named on the list runs from 19 to 39, and their professions include academia, entrepreneurs, public sector, banking and third sector.
Mike continued “We are lucky that Scotland has a very solid infrastructure for supporting and developing business across all sectors. This list shows that significant contributions to Scottish business are coming from young people under 40, which has to bode well for the future of Scottish business.”
40UNDER40: Scotland 2016 was sponsored by Exolta Capital Partners who were represented on the judging panel by Steve Turner.
