ParentPreneur launches in the North East

A new local networking group has been set up specifically created for parents with their own businesses or thinking of starting their own business.

Last Friday, 16th September saw the launch of ParentPreneur Aberdeenshire hosted by Catriona Stevenson.

The events are held locally, easy to get to with close by parking, at a time that works around school pick up and drop offs.

Catriona said “I wanted to find a way of bring parents together to share their business and build a community, I was introduced to Florence Roberts, the founder of ParentPreneur, in March this year and thought this was an opportunity too good to miss out on and exactly what Aberdeen/shire needed just now.”

ParentPreneur Aberdeenshire has been supported in its journey to launch by Holiday Inn Westhill which will be the venue for monthly meetings going forward and guest speaker Karen Stewart of This Little Piggy Marketing opened with an informative and high-energy piece on Social Media.

“Be brave and get posting” & “marketing is all about being in your customers shoes” All great pieces of advice that saw the ParentPreneurs scribbling away.

If you’d like to find out more about attending a session, getting involved or even a guest speaker slot then get in touch with Catriona on
