Susan Godman has been appointed Business Facilitator with Henderson Loggie. The newly created role underlines the accountancy firm’s commitment to its growing business improvement services division as it prepares to launch an elite new Business Leader Group.
A qualified chartered accountant from a Big 4 firm with a background in corporate structured finance at RBS, Susan then moved into professional education with ICAS focusing on teaching and facilitation, before contracting as a lecturer at a number of academic institutions across the UK.
Commenting on the decision to expand the business improvement team, Henderson Loggie Partner Steve Cartwright said:
“Susan’s appointment represents a major step forward in our development strategy which recognises the shift in the type of services our clients value in the digital age. We have optimised our operations using new technology for standard accountancy processes, reporting and analysis, and are now ramping up to respond to increasing demand from businesses for strategic advice, coaching and mentoring. Susan brings a unique set of skills in accountancy, corporate finance and training which will be of huge benefit to the businesses we support.”
Henderson Loggie business leader groups help business leaders and owners to develop new strategies, learn new leadership skills and solve challenges in a confidential learning environment. Membership is through an application process and groups are carefully brought together on a non-competing basis.
Susan Godman said: “Henderson Loggie’s existing Business Leader Group has been very successful, and I am delighted to join such a progressive firm as it prepares to launch a new Dundee group in November.”
