Scottish Business Network brings IT companies together

Scottish Business Network has a mission to connect Scottish companies to the world – and the recent agreement between Priority Software Ltd and Cloud Cover IT is a great example of how this can happen.

Calum Byers – a founder members of the Scottish Business Network –  had an international client who was looking for additional partners in the UK.  Through the SBN network he contacted fellow member Lance Gauld, the CEO of Cloud Cover IT who was interested in expanding his business.   A few meetings later and a partnership agreement between Priority Software Ltd and Cloud Cover IT was signed.  “This is why we set up SBN” said Russell Dalgleish, the founder, “to bring Scotland to the world – and the world to Scotland !”

Priority Software Ltd is a global ERP vendor that is rapidly expanding in the US and European markets.   Cloud Cover IT is a fast-growing UK based IT firm that has been providing a wide range of tailored technology business solutions for over 20 years.

Headquartered in Glasgow, the Cloud Cover IT team will market, sell, integrate and support Priority ERP installations in the region. In response to the growing demand for its flagship ERP model, Cloud Cover IT is targeting local small to mid-sized organisations to offer an alternative to the complex, costly traditional ERP systems from giant vendors. Priority ERP offers robust functionality, combined with a high degree of flexibility and a simple and intuitive user experience, with major savings in TCO of up to 70% including internal costs and maintenance.

Customers in Scotland and the region can also expect to benefit from Priority’s dedication to future proofing technology with data analytics, REST APIs, mobile application generator and more. Additionally, the company’s strong commitment to cloud delivery model (all modules also available as SaaS) sets it apart from other vendors, as it fast becomes the preferred consumption model for enterprise software platforms in mature markets. In early 2018, Gartner included Priority as a representative vendor in its Market Guide for Product-Centric Cloud ERP Solutions, deeming Priority's cloud ERP solutions as one of the top 15 solutions available today for the second year in a row.

Lance Gauld, the CEO of Cloud Cover IT said “We partnered with Priority Software as we recognised a gap in our own portfolio and identified Priority as an excellent choice to help us meet our client needs with ERP requirements, where our other solutions may not be the right fit. We believe that Priority is just what the Scottish market needs – simplicity, flexibility and cost-effectiveness, all on a single platform.”

Avi Troub, VP International Sales at Priority Software, comments, “We see tremendous potential in the Scottish market with opportunities for both small and mid-sized organisations in need of a reliable ERP solution. We are proud of our partnership with Cloud Cover IT and are confident that with a ready team on the ground, we can bring a new level of innovation to customers and prospects in the region.”
