A new, full-service media agency has been launched in Glasgow.
BluKite, which has been established by print industry expert John McLeod and graphic artist Samantha Ramsay, aims to lure clients with a compelling mix of services.
When they started talking about setting up bluKite together, John and Sam considered restricting themselves to print and design but it rapidly became apparent that through their respective experience, their talents extended to other disciplines which could be shared with prospective clients.
They also realised that they had established – and worked with – a comprehensive network of partner companies in other fields of activity, which could allow them to offer an even greater range of services.
John has huge experience of the print industry, having run his own successful business for a number of years, and having worked with a number of blue-chip clients, including Direct Line, Black & Lizars, GSPC, Slaters, NHS, Johnson Controls, HCS Group, several local councils and hotels.
His experience ranges from hand-drawn mapping to design on Macs, and he has held various key posts in pre-press companies, compiling catalogues, brochures, magazines, adverts, packaging, billboards, fliers, posters and websites.
Sam has more than 22 years of design experience, working on major commissions such as magazines and national newspapers.
She has a BA (Hons) from Edinburgh College of Art and has worked on a diverse array of projects from postcards to billboards, to promotions and advertising, as well as photography and marketing campaigns.
John said: “We want bluKite to encompass all aspects of print, web and social media, so that clients can obtain the full package that links all of their modern marketing requirements.”
Sam added: “We are a one-stop shop that delivers the best – from concept to finished product. Whether it is web, print, photography, video or social media, we will brand you and make your company shine.”
