International real estate advisor Savills has appointed John Menzies as a director in its retail and leisure agency team, based in the firm’s Glasgow office.
Most recently at Cushman & Wakefield, John has spent 21 years working in the commercial property sector gaining extensive experience advising developers, landlords and occupiers across all areas of the retail and leisure market in Scotland. At Savills John will continue to focus on providing strategic and leasing advice on a number of shopping centres, as well as working with a number of key occupiers.

Savills UK retail and leisure agency team is more than 80-strong, operating from a network of offices in London, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester and Leeds. The firm advises landlords and occupiers in shopping centre, high street, retail park and outlet centre locations across the UK, with instructions totalling circa 43.5 million sq ft.
In Scotland Savills provides asset management and leasing advice on 19 shopping centres, covering almost 8 million sq ft, and 27 retail parks, expanding 3.5 million sq ft.
